Biography

Education-Prof Dr. S M Rejwan Raju graduated MBBS from Dhaka Medical College (DMC) in July 2010. Later he obtained FCPS (Fellowship) in MCPS (Membership) & FCPS (Fellowship) in Ophthalmology from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in January, 2016 & July, 2016 respectively. Then he completed long term Advanced Ppost Graduate Fellowship Tarining in Glaucoma from National Institute of Ophthalmology. He also had obsernship fellowship training in Glaucoma from Aurvind Eye Hospital, Mumbai, India.

Experiences- Practicing Phaco surgery/ Cataract -more than 3 years and did thousands of Phaco surgeries.
Practicing Glaucoma -more than 2 years and did hundred of glaucoma surgeries.
Practicing General Ophthalmology-more than 3 years.

Works/Jobs- After completing Fellowship (FCPS-eye), Dr. S M Rejwan Raju started his journey in ophthalmic practice in East-West Medical College Hospital as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology in 2016. Dr. Raju also started his ophthalmic practice in Hikmah Eye Hospital at Khilgaon, Dhaka, in 2016.
Now he is working as Assistant Professor of Glaucoma in Lions Eye Institute & Hospital, Agargaon, Dhaka.

Interest- Refractive Cataract Surgery (Multifocal & Toric IOL), Complex Cataract, Congenital Glaucoma, Complex glaucoma, Teaching and Research.
