Dr. Md. Abdul Hannanis working as a consultant of Ophthalmology department at Kurmitola General Hospital, Dhaka. He is in private practice at Hikmah Eye Hospital, Khilgaon, Dhaka where he is serving cornea and phaco surgery..

Education-Dr. Md. Abdul Hannan graduated MBBS from University of Chittagong in 1995. Later he obtained FCPS (Fellowship) in Ophthalmology from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in July, 2012.
Then he completed long term fellowship in Cornea from National Institiute of Ophthalmology and Hospital, 2016.

Experiences- Practicing Phaco surgery/ Cataract -more than 10 years and did thousands of Phaco surgeries.
Practicing Cornea- more than 3 years and did hundreds of Corneal surgeries.
Practicing General Ophthalmology-more than 16 years.

Works/Jobs- After completing Fellowship Dr. Md. Abdul Hannan joined at Jessore Medical College in 2012 as Medical Officer, then promoted to Junior Consultant, Ophthalmology, in 2015.
After 2 years, He joined Kurmitola General Hospital, Dhaka, in 2017. Now, he is working there as Consultant in eye department.

Dr. Md. Abdul Hannan Started Private Practice in Bashabo, Dhaka, in 2009. He started practice at Hikmah Eye Hospital (Now Hikmah Eye Hospital Ltd.) at Khilgaon, Dhaka in 2018.

Interest- Cornea, phaco, Refractive Cataract Surgery, Teaching and Research.
